Hello and welcome!

This is a place where I want to share and remind myself of what amazing vegan food there is to be had out there, and to keep pictures and tried-and-tested recipes in one place.. following through recipes and showing how good/bad they actually came out. I will be rating what I make, and also reviewing vegan goods available in the supermarkets and restaurants.

First off I want to review my most recent new purchase:

Choices chocolate caramels

Name: Caramel Flavoured Choices by Celtic Overall rating: 8/10 Price: £2.99 for 12 'chocolates'

This product doesn't actually class itself as 'chocolate', I think because of a legal requirement that the cocoa solids percentage must be over a certain amount but basically it is chocolate filled with a liquid caramel centre. I remembered I have had these before in a Celtics chocolate selection box (which was absolutely gorgeous, have only found them once before in an Asda store near me). They remind me a bit of Rolos (but nicer, they taste less 'harsh') but are runnier.. which was absolutely gorgeous. The price is quite a lot considering, but having them as a treat doesn't hurt and I definitely think they're worth it. A bit of extra information, they are also wheat-free and gluten-free as well as dairy and egg-free.
