Chocolate Chip Loaf

One of our ratties is taking two lots of meds, one of them we have to give him quite a lot of and really struggles as it smells rank. I've had to disguise it by putting it in something very sweet so for a few days it seems like I will have to spoil him a little!








I give him a little chunk and conveniently me and Elliot enjoy it too! Recipe is from Another Dinner Is Possible and the adaptable recipe has never failed me. Was going to make a lemon drizzle but citrus can be dangerous for male rats.

Also I adapted the cauliflower and lentil soup from Vegan a Go Go to make lentil and sweet potato soup, with fresh coriander from my herb garden.




And for dinner the roast potatoes tasted great with no oil (using broth instead) and fresh lemon thyme & sage.
